SMR’s E-Commerce Feasibility Team saw the production and review of more than 350 new site feasibilities for clients during 2022.
Spanning from urban micro-mobility hubs to logistic delivery stations, EV van parking sites to last mile legacy sites, the team’s consistent efforts across RIBA work stages 0-3 has provided a pipeline of live projects through the construction phase, and almost 1M sqft of last mile warehousing logistics and office space.
As our work streams grow, we’ve also had the pleasure of team growth and diversification, all of which continues to support our clients in: site analysis, the undertaking of site visits, carrying out desktop studies, collaboration and presentations highlighting key constraints and complexities surrounding site proposals, developing designs, templates and more!
The team has spent 2022 investigating and supporting a new workstream with an existing client. This has resulted in the launch of three new micro-mobility hubs, across the UK, in City Centre locations. As our client strives to make more sustainability conscious moves in the years to come, we are supporting them to achieve their goals of more sustainable logistic solutions, all the way down to the end-users.
With our existing workflows with long term clients differentiating/ broadening/ expanding, and new clients on the horizon, the SMR feasibility team are currently reviewing new opportunities in the first quarter of 2023 across the UK and EU and have an exciting year ahead.
SMR are logistics experts with a specialist knowledge of last mile facilities and are at the cutting edge of the industry.
