New Safestores Reach Completion

SMR have completed two new Safestore sites: St Albans and Holloway Road.
The St Albans fit out comprised of 2-tier mezzanine with 3no. means of escape stairs, increasing the gross internal area to 78,396 SQFT of storage and 9,992 SQFT as a vacant unit create a total of 88,388 SQFT. The site is served by two level loading doors within the service yard and a 2500kg goods / passenger lift serving all floors. SMR worked with the design team and Safestore to develop and deliver a cohesive project that aligns with Safestore standards and requirements.
The scheme comprises of the fit out of an existing building to create a satellite store for the existing SAFESTORE on Holloway Road. The existing building has 3 floors with a total area of 13,789 SQFT. The loading bay is located within the building with an extra parking spot locating on the wall adjacent.
