Darlington Fulfilment Centre, Client-Side Monitoring Role
SMR Architects were appointed to act on behalf of the operator in a client-side monitoring (CSM) capacity for the delivery of a 2 million sqft state-of-the-art fulfilment centre, part of a wider masterplan led by Tritax Symmetry and completed in 2021.
Working closely with the client, project managers, and the wider design team, SMR supported the successful management of significant design changes and late-stage initiatives, ensuring full compliance with the project specification.
SMR regularly undertake CSM roles, fostering collaboration and shared learning in environments that are often complex and high-pressure, helping to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with client objectives.
