Cambuslang Dough Manufacturing Facility
In 2021, SMR Architects partnered with TSL to deliver a new commissary for Domino’s Pizza Group plc in Cambuslang, Scotland. Designed to enhance Domino’s supply capabilities across Scotland and the North of England, the facility showcases our ability to deliver high-quality, turnkey solutions for national brands.
The project involved the refurbishment and recladding of a 2,500m² steel-framed building, incorporating warehouse space, a trade counter, and staff amenities. A new concrete yard was formed to the north, replacing the former grassed area, and includes four V2G docking systems to support fleet operations.
Two large automated loading doors provide efficient goods handling, while a dedicated Trade Entrance ensures clear pedestrian access. The 4-acre site includes secure parking and expansion capacity, with an additional 2 acres available for future development.
This modern, functional facility strengthens Domino’s regional distribution network and reflects our expertise in delivering complex industrial and logistics environments.
