As the design team leader, SMR’s collaborative approach and design process helped to achieve the strong aspirations of both our Client and the Council to deliver a new and vibrant community of 118 dwellings and flats on the banks of the river Hull. The area is a regeneration effort led by the Council with unique contextual constraints and opportunities, leading to a new hybrid design of urban house-types for the Client. It is envisaged through this collaboration with the housebuilder, a new highly sustainable series of house-types will be created, broadening their market towards more strategic urban sites.
