We’re proud to have delivered the full refurbishment and fit-out of an existing Safestore facility—transforming both the newly acquired 12,700 sq ft office space and the attached 49,400 sq ft storage facility (GF + MEZZ), bringing the total project GIA to an impressive 62,100 sq ft.

Key elements of the project included:

🔹 Addition of new internal and external stair to ensure appropriate escape.

🔹Refurbishment of existing stairs to create protected stairs to ensure safe escape routes.
🔹 Reconfiguration of storage units and access routes for compliance and safety
🔹 New ramps and steps at MEZZ level for safe access
🔹 Full external upgrade including new cladding, roller shutter replacements, fencing, and gate system enhancements
🔹 Complete refurbishment of reception, kitchen, and WC areas to meet Safestore’s premium standards

All of this was delivered within a live, operational store, which presented unique challenges—maintaining safe escape routes, minimising disruption, and ensuring compliance at every stage. This complex, multi-faceted project came together through close collaboration, attention to detail, and a shared commitment to excellence.
