SMR were appointed for the redevelopment of former agricultural land to provide 2 industrial units with a combined floor space of circa 355,560 sq.ft.

Numerous site constraints including overhead powerlines, being located within Flood Zone 3, surrounding developments and the need to accommodate landscape buffers to the boundaries required extensive collaboration and coordination between the design team in order to reach a design that met the client’s requirements and satisfied local planning policy.

Sustainability is a key driver in the design, with the masterplan allowing for an extensive new landscaping proposals and green technology and materials incorporated from the outset.
