Senior Architect / Senior Technologist
A great designer with experience working across various commercial sectors, ideally including Residential, Retail and Industrial & Logistics sectors, who can lead the design and development of larger-scale commercial projects.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Architecture from a UK-accredited institution.
- Qualified ARB/RIBA Chartered Architect or MCIAT Chartered Architectural Technologist.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial architecture, with a proven track record of Job running and managing complex, large-scale projects from concept to completion.
- Fully proficient in Revit functions.
- Experience in undertaking both CDM Principal Designer and Building Safety Act Principal Designer roles.

Project Architect / Project Technologist
Project Architect / Technologist lead the design and development of multiple or large-scale commercial architecture projects. This role involves managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality standards, and providing technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members. Strong job running skills.
- Qualified ARB/RIBA Architect or MCIAT Architectural Technologists.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience post bachelor’s degree of experience in commercial architecture, with a proven track record of running complex projects from concept to completion.
- Fully proficient in all Revit functions.
- Experience in undertaking both CDM Principal Designer and Building Safety Act Principal Designer roles.
- A practical knowledge of relevant UK Building Regulations and design standards.

Business Development & Marketing Lead
SMR are seeking a BD & Marketing Lead to join our leadership team, someone who can bring cohesion to our business development, marketing, and client engagement efforts.
The role includes coordinating bids, guiding marketing campaigns, supporting client relationships, and ensuring commercial performance across projects.
You’ll also mentor our digital marketer and collaborate across working groups to embed best practices in quality assurance, systems, and governance.
