SMR has once again achieved the Investors in People accreditation. Completion of the new 6th Generation Assessment, sees SMR accredited until 2021. Organisations that meet this world-recognised Investors in People Standard reflect the very best in people management excellence.

Andy Richardson, IIP assessor reported:

“There is no doubt that Smalley Marsey Rispin Architects Ltd. is a ‘people place’. The level of commitment to the development of people and processes, builds with a foundation of architectural good practice that has seen the Organisation go from strength to strength.”

Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People Framework. Based on 25 years of leading practice, the latest research and workplace trends, the Investors in People Framework is organised around nine key indicators of high performance each with three underpinning themes.

To achieve accreditation, organisations are assessed against these 27 themes and indicators. Assessment is carried out using desk-top review, interviews, meetings and observations.

Amanda Marsey, Director said:

“Having a happy and motivated team takes more than simply having a bowl of fruit (even a tasty and full one). Our Management team are constantly focused on keeping our little team happy, therefore, we were delighted to not only successfully attain the new IiP Standard award, but get great feedback from our assessor too. The team are already looking for ways to make SMR even better place to work, and I look forward to seeing what new and exciting practices we can roll out next.

Big thanks to all the team for their constant hard work and positive outlook.”
