The brief was to fully rationalise and re-organise the existing production buildings through zoning the site to encompass the company’s ethos of improving efficiency and re-cladding the existing office. In addition, a 16,000 sq.ft bespoke new “hub building” was designed to develop the site’s capabilities and security, comprising additional offices, visitor conference facilities, restaurant, lounge and IT area.

Environmental credentials were a high priority to the client; air source heat pumps, rainwater recycling, solar panels for hot water preheating and heat recovery supply and extract, were all utilised, leading to an enhanced building envelope that performs better than Building Regulations.

During the facilities opening event John Clark, Managing Director of PING Europe commented:

“You have given Ping something to be very proud of and you went about it the ‘Ping Way’ – Quality always came first.”
