We were approached by Hemingford Properties to create a mixed use development of 90 private residential apartments and 15,000 sq ft of retail with underground car parking in New Malden, Surrey.

As the chosen site was a short distance away from the town’s established shopping centre, design emphasis was placed on the south west corner to create a ‘signpost’ that would draw people in from the High Street.

Retail and residential units blend well, and there are large areas of roof-top amenity space to promote urban living and higher residential densities.
