As part of an early feasibility review project for Ballymore Properties, SMR undertook a full site appraisal of this significant waterside site.

Sandwiched between Brentford High Street and the River Thames, the site provided opportunity to work with significant levels falling from the retail element of the High Street to the leisure and residential elements along the waterfront. A mixed use solution provided over 850 new residential properties, new restaurants and leisure facilities, circa 100,000 sqft retail space and a new 25,000 sqft food store, along with major highway and service adaptation and underground car parking.

The scheme would provide a much needed regeneration of the Thames mooring basin in Brentford, with riverside bars and restaurants spilling out with south facing external seating areas.
